Mesquite Bedroom SuiteThis is our King-size Sleigh bed in solid Mesquite. Finding a piece of Mesquite this long can be a challenge. The raised panels showcase the beautiful grain while the slats supporting the box spring are dovetailed to the side rails providing for years of trouble free use. This heirloom bed will be passed along for many generations.

The Night Stands have a drawer containing hand cut, half blind dovetail joinery, hand turned Walnut knobs, a mortice and tenon door below that covers an adjustable shelf.

The Lamp accents are hand turned from a solid log of Texas Mesquite, filling in the natural cracks and voids in the wood with an epoxy resin accentuates the natural wood grain, we finish off the lamps with solid brass socket hardware.

 

Mesquite Dresser and MirrorMesquite Dresser and Mirror

This dresser has 7 drawers with hand cut, half blind, dovetails, Hand turned Walnut knobs finish the drawers. The special thing about this piece is the Veneer on the drawer fronts. The figured veneer wood we split on our resaw to about 1/8” thick, applied them in a book match pattern to the drawer fronts and then filled the small natural voids with epoxy resin. You can see the end of the face frame dovetails on the book matched side of the cabinet.

The Mirror has Walnut corner blocks and inlaid stars in the top corners, there is a 1 ½” bevel on the glass. And in the reflection shows the entertainment center as well.
